Jeffrey John Hanneman (January 31, 1964 – May 2, 2013) was an American musician, best known as a founding member and co-lead guitarist of the thrash metal band Slayer. Hanneman composed both music and lyrics for every Slayer album until his death in 2013.

The story begins with Zane being attacked by the Psyko Sindikate. They explode Zane's apartment and mother, hack his computer, kill his mentor, Mikey Sikey, and kidnap fellow X-Slayer Steffanie. Driven by a thirst for revenge, Zane goes after Mevin Raniels, leader of the Psykos and his stepfather.
Goblin Slayer is later spotted by a group of silver-ranked adventurers (High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman and Lizard Priest) who offer a quest to eliminate a goblin nest in elf lands. Along with Priestess, they form a party and head to the nest. After eliminating the goblin nest, they battle an ogre which Goblin Slayer triumphs.
