Olympique Lyonnais (French pronunciation: [ɔlɛ̃pik ljɔnɛ]), commonly referred to as simply Lyon (French pronunciation:) or OL, is a French professional football club based in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. On 17 June 2023, L'Equipe reported that French football financial overseers Direction Nationale du Contrôle de Gestion (DNCG) was prepared to sanction Olympique Lyon if it failed to account for €60 million before 30 June.
