  7. The easiest way of dealing with it is to open terminal and type "killall Dock" (although it is not a full solution, as the issue re-appears) . This then recovers the Dock for a time. Alternatively, right click the dock icon and "open new finder window" or whatever the app equivalent is. [Edited by Moderator]

  8. Finder is Apple's file manager on Mac. It does not have anything to do with your choice of Web Browser. Windows PCs would have Windows Explorer as the equivalent to Finder. Firefox would have nothing to do with that. If you are referring to Apple's web browser on Mac, its called Safari, not Finder, and no there is no Safari for Windows. FoxFifth.

If you want read/write access you either use a browser that supports it or use a 3rd party app instead. HWTech. Level 9. 60,284 points.

Finder can be used with recent macOS versions, replacing iTunes, to restore an iPhone or iPad. iOS/iPadOS instead feature the Files App - that performs similar file-management functions for iPhone and iPad.

  11. Posted on Sep 4, 2024 6:20 AM. To get OneDrive in Finder, just download the OneDrive app from the App Store, sign in, and follow the setup to pick your sync location. It should show up automatically in Finder’s sidebar—if not, check Finder settings under ""Sidebar"" and make sure OneDrive is ticked. If you want something more flexible ...
