This list of Arkansas Townships is based on the U. S. Census (2000) list of places in Arkansas. There are also former townships that have been combined with others or absorbed by urban expansion. Arkansas counties are divided into townships. Each township includes unincorporated space and some may have one or more incorporated towns or cities.
Township lines run parallel to the baseline (east-west), while range lines run north–south; each are established at 6-mile intervals. Lastly, townships are subdivided into 36 sections of approximately 1 square mile (640 acres; 2.6 km 2 ) and sections into four quarter-sections of 0.25 square miles (160 acres; 0.65 km 2 ) each.

Wyoming County is a county in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 21,382. [1] Its county seat is Pineville. [2] The county was created in 1850 from Logan County and named for the Lenape word meaning "large plains". [3]
