Eccles Avenue Historic District, also known as the David Eccles Subdivision, is a historic neighborhood located between 25th and 26th streets and Jackson and Van Buren Avenues in Ogden, Utah, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. [2]

In 1928 it was moved to Tabernacle Square next to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum. It was moved again in 2011-2012, along with the museum to a lot on the corner of 21st and Lincoln Avenue, as part of the remodel of the Ogden Utah Temple. [3] The cabin was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. [1]
Ogden in 1874. Originally named Fort Buenaventura, Ogden was the first permanent settlement by people of European descent in what is now Utah.It was established by the trapper Miles Goodyear [11] in 1846 about a mile west of where downtown Ogden sits today.
