BarlowGirl was an American Christian rock and Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) all-female band from Elgin, Illinois. The band was composed of sisters Alyssa (lead vocals, bass guitar, keyboards), Lauren (co-lead vocals, drums) and Rebecca (guitar, backing vocals) Barlow.
Additionally, the back of the All Access Pass mentions "the world premiere of the new BarlowGirl video and more!" [3] However, no such premiere occurred and the music video release was ultimately cancelled. The second music video, believed to be "Sweet Revenge", was recorded in 2009 by 1834 Productions as part of a Deep Forgiveness devotional.
A music video for the song was announced on April 27, 2006, [3] and premiered on June 28, 2006, on Yahoo! Music. [4] The music video portrayed the three sisters on city streets for the beginning of the song. After the first chorus they are shown in an old building and outdoors, playing their instruments.
BarlowGirl is the debut album from the Christian rock and CCM band, BarlowGirl. The album was released on February 24, 2004 on Fervent Records . [ 11 ] The album hit No. 14 on Billboard magazine's Top Heatseekers chart, and No. 9 on the Top Christian Albums chart.
It is BarlowGirl's second music video. [1] In it, the band is playing in a dimly lit park with scenes of a sad girl dressed in black cutting in. The video was a more simple concept than the other two they shot for "Grey" and "Never Alone" in the same year. For Alyssa, this included the Catholic hymn "Panis angelicus", the only BarlowGirl recording in a foreign language; Alyssa sang the lead vocals in Latin, while her sisters and the Shell sisters add English background vocals based on "O Lord Most Holy", the English adaptation.
