Pharmacy, cosmetics, health and beauty aids, general merchandise, snacks Hook's Drug Stores was an Indianapolis, Indiana –based drug store chain which was founded in 1900 by John A. Hook. The chain flourished throughout central Indiana for most of the 20th-century.

Southtown Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Opened in 1969, it closed in 2003 due to declining traffic. Anchor stores once included J. C. Penney, Montgomery Ward (later Kohl's), Wolf & Dessauer (later L. S. Ayres), Sears, and Service Merchandise. The mall was demolished for new development including a Walmart and Menards.

As the Supercenter proved to be a much more profitable experiment, Walmart renamed the stores "Wal-Mart's Hypermart USA" in April 1990, and eventually began either converting them to Supercenter operations or closing them. As of 2023, two of the former Hypermart USA locations still operate as Walmarts while the other two have been demolished.
