The Omaha Mavericks men's ice hockey team, also called the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks and UNO Mavericks, [n 1] is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Nebraska Omaha. The Mavericks are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).
The Nebraska–Omaha Mavericks football team represented the University of Nebraska Omaha in NCAA Division II college football, and played its first season in 1911.They competed in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) during their last season in 2010 and played home games on campus at Al F. Caniglia Field in Omaha, Nebraska.

During the 2015 tournament, the Mavericks made it to the 2015 Frozen Four, their first in school history. The Mavericks are currently coached by Mike Gabinet. Gabinet is the third coach in program history, following Mike Kemp and Dean Blais. The team moved into the new on-campus Baxter Arena for the 2015–16 season.
The 2024–25 Omaha Mavericks men's ice hockey season will be the 28th season of play for the program and 12th in the NCHC. The Mavericks will represent the University of Nebraska Omaha in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season , play their home games at Baxter Arena and be coached by Mike Gabinet in his 8th season.

The Mavericks, led by second year head coach Chris Crutchfield , played their home games at Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska as members of the Summit League .
