Jim Lahey, better known as Mr. Lahey, is a fictional character in the television series Trailer Park Boys. Portrayed by John Dunsworth , he is the main antagonist of the series along with his on again/off again boyfriend Randy .
Randy's relationship with Lahey mirrors their work hierarchy, with Lahey calling the shots, speaking in a commanding voice, and doing what he wants, while Randy obediently conforms, following orders with a warm "Yes, Mr. Lahey". At the same time, Lahey holds deep affection for Randy, and is usually seen as sad whenever Randy breaks up with him.
His character, Randy, is in an on-again/off-again relationship with the Trailer Park Supervisor Jim Lahey (John Dunsworth), whom he always calls Mr. Lahey. Lahey is largely dependent on his assistant for his daily care. Roach has commented in an interview that Randy is gay, though the show portrays the character as bisexual.
Barbara is the trailer park owner and Lahey's ex-wife.
