Fairtex is a Thailand muay thai, boxing, mixed martial arts and clothing brand that was founded by Bunjong Busarakamwongse (better known as Mr. Philip Wong) [1] in Bangkok, Thailand in 1958. [2] [3] Fairtex won the Best MMA gloves Award at World MMA Awards in 2008. Fairtex is gloves partner of ONE Championship events since 2010 to present. [4] [5]
In 2007, Fairtex Mountain View was opened and Fairtex Newark, CA in 2009. In 2013, Fairtex Mountain View closed, leaving no Fairtex gyms in the United States. Nine gyms were opened in the Tokyo metropolitan area in 2004, another in Pattaya the following year in 2005 [ 1 ] and one in 2012, Fairtex in China.
She is the organization's first three-sport world champion, having also held the ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship and ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Championship. Initially competing in the all-striking ONE Super Series, Stamp made her mixed martial arts (MMA) debut on October 11, 2018.
