The Sony Vaio P series is a range of ultraportable subnotebook computers [1] [2] launched in January 2009. [ 3 ] It was marketed as a "lifestyle PC", [ 2 ] although they share many characteristics with netbook computers.
VAIO (Japanese: バイオ) is a brand of personal computers and consumer electronics, currently developed by Japanese manufacturer VAIO Corporation (VAIO 株式会社, Baio Kabushiki Kaisha, English: / ˈ v aɪ. oʊ /), headquartered in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture.
Other features include a 0.3 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, SD and Memory Stick reader, FireWire 400 port, fingerprint sensor and Trusted Platform Module support. As with the SZ series, the Z is equipped with standard, rather than ultra-low voltage (which are slower, but produce less heat and provide better battery life) processors.
The SZ is a discontinued series of notebook computers from Sony introduced in mid-2006 to replace the S series. They fall into the ultraportable notebook class, with a 13.3" 16:10 ratio 1280x800 screen, and a weight from 1.69kg for the top model, which featured carbon fiber casing.
For the graphics options, Sony switched from AMD back to NVIDIA with the GeForce GT 640M LE with 1 GB DDR3 dedicated video RAM. NVIDIA's Optimus technology allowed the laptop to conserve battery life by switching from the discrete GPU and the low-power Intel HD Graphics 4000 chip integrated in the CPU when high-powered graphics were not required.

The original logo and product design for the camera was designed by Sony employee Oliver Wright. A second, newer model of the EyeToy was also made, but sports a smaller size and silver casing. [ 9 ] Apart from smaller electronics, no internal improvements had been made to the new model, and its functionality stayed the same as the old EyeToy.
