Wolf Creek is an unincorporated community in Josephine County, Oregon, United States, just off Interstate 5. There are a number of creeks in Oregon named Wolf Creek, after the wolves that were once abundant in the state. Wolf Creek post office was established 1882, while a railroad station called "Almaden" was located in the same place in 1883. [1]
Wolf Creek Generating Station is a nuclear power plant located near Burlington, Kansas. It occupies 9,818 acres (39.73 km 2 ) of the total 11,800 acres (4,800 ha) controlled by the owner. Its namesake, Wolf Creek, was dammed to create Coffey County Lake (formerly Wolf Creek Lake), and provides water for the condensers.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places as Wolf Creek Tavern in 1972. [2] The inn was acquired by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department in 1975. The tavern/restaurant and inn are still in operation.

Wolf Creek Reservoir is a 230-acre (93 ha) impoundment located within the Elkhorn Mountains in eastern Oregon. [2] The water is relatively clear and provides good trout fishing. [ 3 ] The reservoir is located north of Haines and is fed by Wolf Creek from the Elkhorn Mountains in the Powder River basin. [ 4 ]
