The Molalla Log House, or the David Fox Granary, is a historic log cabin originally located in Molalla, Oregon. It represents perhaps the oldest extant building in Oregon if not the Pacific Northwest , built c. 1790 .
Settlers brought cattle into the area in 1872. Scott Catterson, a rancher from Iowa, claimed the land and built the first cabins at the site of the Riddle Brothers Ranch buildings prior to 1900. (The original sod-roof home is now a toolshed; Catterson later built a larger one-story log cabin from which the current ranch house was developed.)
