Coding it Forward is an American 501c3 non-profit organization with the goal of building a talent pipeline into civic tech, primarily through creating and marketing data science and technology internships in federal government agencies for undergraduate and graduate students at colleges and universities across the United States.

Outreachy (previously the Free and Open Source Software Outreach Program for Women) is a program that organizes three-month paid internships with free and open-source software projects for people who are typically underrepresented in those projects.
The second largest school of its kind in Chicago, it provided a one-year professional internship program to more than 200 baccalaureate students in medical technology during its operation. In 1973, the School of Medical Technology was one of the first internship programs in the country to convert to a two-year baccalaureate degree program.
Coursework in the college's graduate and undergraduate degree programs is supplemented by a range of comprehensive pre-employment training opportunities, including Radio DePaul, The DePaulia, [47] 14East Magazine, Good Day DePaul, and a top-rated internship program. These include a High School Program (formerly the Young Women's Political Leadership Program), a Congressional Fellowship (formerly known as the Star Fellowship and funded by the Walmart Foundation), Elect Her (which was formerly known as Campaign College), and the Young Women to Watch Awards.
