The campus started Electronic Engineering subjects for the first time in UET history. In this respect, its first Batch [clarification needed] (2004 to 2008) is called the "Pioneer Batch". Similarly architecture was not only started for the first time in the history of UET Peshawar but also in history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Government degree college Naguman Peshawar was established by KP Provincial Government during 2012-2013. It is situated in the village of Naguman on the outskirts of Peshawar city. The campus of the college is spread over 40 Kanals of land.
The university is the first multi-campus university in Pakistan, having five modern campuses based in different cities. [3] These campuses are located in Chiniot-Faisalabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, providing a standard educational environment and recreational facilities to 11,000 students, out of which 500 are faculty members and a quarter is covered by female students.
