The Outer Ring Road (ORR) is a ring road that runs around most of the perimeter of the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.This 60-kilometre-long (37 mi) road [1] was developed by the Bangalore Development Authority and different sections were opened progressively between 1996 and 2002.
The birthplace of Tipu Sultan, also known as Tiger of Mysore, is located near to the fort. [5] The fort is situated on the side of National Highway 7, near the Bengaluru International Airport. An Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) board outside the fort and at Tipu Sultan's birthplace declares them to be protected monuments. [6] [7]
