The Janasena Party (lit. ' People's Army Party ' ; abbr. JSP ) is an Indian political party active in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana . Founded by Pawan Kalyan on 14 March 2014, [ 4 ] [ 5 ] it is currently the second largest party in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and a partner in the ruling coalition. [ 6 ]
Pawan Kalyan was born as Konidela Kalyan Kumar [39] on 2 September 1971 [2] in a Telugu family to Konidela Venkata Rao and Anjana Devi in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. [43] [44] Venkata Rao worked as an excise police constable and was transferred on a regular basis.

Pawan Kalyan is the current MLA of the constituency, having won the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Janasena Party. [3] [4] As of 2024, there are a total of 230,188 electors in the constituency. [5] The constituency was established in 1951, as per the Delimitation Orders (1951).
