Disney Princess, also called the Princess Line, [2] is a media franchise and toy line owned by the Walt Disney Company. Created by Disney Consumer Products chairman Andy Mooney , the franchise features a lineup of female protagonists who have appeared in various Disney franchises.
Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams is a 2007 American direct-to-video animated musical film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Disneytoon Studios. It was the first and only film released for a planned Disney Princess Enchanted Tales series of direct-to-video films, each featuring new stories about the Disney Princesses .
Princess Aurora is the titular protagonist of the film and the third official Disney Princess.After she is cursed by the evil fairy Maleficent as a baby to die on her sixteenth birthday after pricking her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel, Merryweather uses her gift to change the curse so that Aurora will instead fall into a deep sleep until true love's kiss breaks the spell.
Despite not being a princess by birth nor by marriage, Mulan holds an honorary Disney Princess status as part of the official Disney Princess lineup.
