The Bastard Executioner is an American historical fiction drama television series, created by Kurt Sutter, that aired on FX from September 15, 2015, to November 17, 2015. [1] On November 18, 2015, Sutter announced that he had voluntarily pulled the plug on the show, after one season, as a cancellation by FX was imminent.
