Info This map is part of a series of location maps with unified standards: SVG as file format, standardised colours and name scheme. This map is part of a collection of 216 free country maps, created by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), to be used in print, web or broadcast products. The ReliefWeb Location Maps released here are maps that highlight a country, its capital, major populated places and the surrounding regions.
This mirrors the #civilwar part in the link parameter in the map's code and allows the click on the dot to take the viewer to the beginning of the war section in the town's Wikipedia article. In summary, when the status of a map object changes, the color of the icon has to be updated and the write-up (along with the source) has to be added as well.
