The present courthouse is the third to serve Racine County. The first, constructed in 1839, was located in the town's market square, today known as Monument Square. The 66th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises the southeast corner of Racine County, including the south side of the city of Racine, most of the village of Mount Pleasant, and the villages of Sturtevant and Elmwood Park.
