Greenwood Community High School is known for their marching band which goes by the name "Marching Woodmen". They have participated in State Finals over 30 times. They have won 14 ISSMA State Championships (1986,1987,1989,1990,1995,1996,1997,2000,2006,2007,2010,2013,2014, and 2018).
