South Haven Charter Township is a charter township of Van Buren County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,041 at the 2020 census . [ 3 ] The city of South Haven is located to the northwest of the township.
It continued as South Haven until Oct. 8, 1855, when, by the action of the Board of Supervisors of Van Buren County, surveyed township No. 2 south, of range No. 17 west, was organized as Deerfield. Its name was changed to Covert by the State Legislative body, then in session, March 29, 1877. [4]

Bloomingdale Township is a civil township of Van Buren County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 2,930. [3] It was established in 1845. [4] The village of Bloomingdale is located within the township, and is the only incorporated town.
