Avianca Cargo (formerly Tampa Cargo - Transportes Aereos Mercantiles PanAmericanos S.A.) is a cargo airline based at José María Córdova International Airport in Medellín, Colombia. It is an all-cargo airline transporting flowers from Latin America to Miami , as well as general cargo throughout the Americas.
The airline was founded on March 5, 1998, but only in November 2000 an application to the United States Department of Transportation for the right to carry cargo between the United States and Mexico was filed. [3] Flight operations were launched in July 2001, with services to the Los Angeles key market being commenced on January 21, 2006.
