County Road 480 runs through five roads in southern Citrus County. It runs east and west from the Chassahowitzka River in Chassahowitzka into Withlacoochee State Forest, to US 41 south of Floral City. The road was previously signed as SR 480. [1] Though another CR 480 exists in nearby Hernando County, Citrus CR 480 has no connection to that route.

Hernando is a census-designated place in Citrus County, Florida, United States. The population was 9,284 at the 2020 census, up from 9,054 at the 2010 census. [ 4 ] At one time it was a city but it was disincorporated in the 1970s.

County Road 476 is a long bi-county road in northern Hernando County. It runs west to east and includes Centralia Boulevard, Citrus Way, and Lake Lindsey Road. The route spans from US 19 in the Royal Highlands area to Nobleton, where it crosses the Hernando-Sumter County Line at a bridge over the Withlacoochee River.
Across the Hernando–Citrus county line, US 19 continues its rural surroundings, but this time has a limited number of left-turn lanes in the center median. Recent development in the area may lead to the addition of such turn lanes. US 98 joins US 19 in Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge, where SR 700 ends.
SR 200 is signed from Hernando through Apache Shores and Stokes Ferry in Citrus County, passing a narrow bridge over the Withlacoochee River.Entering Marion County, it passes by the Ross Prairie State Forest and continues through Marion Oaks where it changes from a two-lane road to a six-lane divided boulevard and continues with this width as it runs towards the City of Ocala.
