Trần Văn Đôn (Vietnamese pronunciation: [t͡ɕən˨˩ van˧˧ ʔɗon˧˧]; August 17, 1917 – 1998) was a general in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam, and one of the principal figures in the 1963 South Vietnamese coup d'état which overthrew President Ngô Đình Diệm.

The provinces of Vietnam are subdivided into second-level administrative units, namely districts (Vietnamese: huyện), provincial cities (thành phố trực thuộc tỉnh), and district-level towns (thị xã).
In 1941, the school was temporarily relocated to the Pedagogical College of Saigon due to the war. It resumed its regular teaching activities in the same year, at its own establishment. In 1945, the school was temporarily closed after evacuating to Tan Dinh school district. It re-opened in April 1946 in a seminary on Lucien Mossard street.
Since the academic year 2003–2004, the city government funded the school to make it a "high-quality school" with total funding of 70 billion VND. The school was then relocated to its new campus at 1 Vu Van Dung Street, Son Tra District. Since 2011, the school 11-storey dormitory started accepting student residents. [5]
The district is divided administratively into two townships, An Châu (district capital) and Tây Yên Tử, and the communes of: Hữu Sản, An Lạc, Vân Sơn, Lệ Viễn, Vĩnh An, Dương Hưu, Long Sơn, An Bá, Yên Định, Tuấn Đạo, Thanh Luận, Cẩm Đàn, Giáo Liêm, Đại Sơn and Phúc Sơn.
