Desoto Acres is a census-designated place (CDP) in northwestern Sarasota County, Florida, United States. It is 4 miles (6 km) north of downtown Sarasota and is bordered to the east by Desoto Lakes. Desoto Acres was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The population was 720 at the 2020 census.
