The project was built in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood located within the city of Henderson, Nevada, which is part of the Las Vegas Valley. The District is split across two parcels, which are divided by South Green Valley Parkway and were developed as separate phases. It is located east of the Green Valley Ranch resort.
Green Valley Ranch opened on December 18, 2001, with 201 rooms and a 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m 2) casino. While a locals casino , the resort was designed with an upscale element.
