The Denver Outlaws are a professional field lacrosse team based in Denver, Colorado, that competes in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). Founded as the Chrome Lacrosse Club , they began play as one of the league's six inaugural teams in the 2019 season alongside Archers , Atlas , Chaos , Redwoods , and Whipsnakes .
Major League Lacrosse was founded in 1999 by Jake Steinfeld, Dave Morrow and Tim Robertson. Steinfeld is the creator of the Body By Jake line of exercise equipment and videos. Morrow is a former All-American lacrosse player at Princeton and the president of Warrior Sports. [4]
In 2016, the Falcons joined the Southern Conference as an associate member for men's lacrosse, increasing the conference's membership to eight teams. [5] Since then, Air Force has captured three regular-season conference championships and two conference tournament championships, with NCAA tournament appearances in 2016 and 2017.
