[1] It contains 60 Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical short subject cartoons, nine documentaries, 32 commentary tracks from animators and historians, 11 "vintage treasures from the vault", and 11 music-only or music-and-sound-effects audio tracks.
HD DVD had Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros. Pictures, while Blu-ray Disc started out with Sony Pictures, The Walt Disney Studios, and 20th Century Fox. Disney and Fox were both impressed by the extra DRM (BD+ and region coding) that the Blu-ray Disc format provided on paper.
