The Girder and Panel Building Set construction kits enabled a child to build plastic models of mid-twentieth century style buildings. Vertical plastic columns were placed in the holes of a Masonite base board and horizontal girders were then locked into the vertical columns to create the skeletal structure of a model building.
During the build, Will announced that the team with the best build will win the Golden Brick. The top two teams were Luis & Alex and Neena & Sam. Neena & Sam won the challenge, as well as the Golden Brick. The bottom two teams were Chris & Jordan and Karen & Amie. Karen & Amie were eliminated because their build was the smallest in the room.

Emily & Liam's build was incomplete and broke while on the runway, and they had to carry it, but they used the Golden Brick, so they were automatically saved.
