WLIR was a radio station that played a new music/modern rock format on the frequencies 92.7 FM, 98.5 FM, and 107.1 FM from the 1980s into the 2000s. Bob Wilson, longtime WLIR employee and historian, created the website WDAREFM.COM (Dare FM), which maintains the spirit of the original WLIR. He also programs the music playlist. [1]

WLNG (92.1 FM) is an oldies/adult hits radio station licensed to Sag Harbor, New York, and serving eastern Long Island. WLNG is owned and operated by Bark Out Loud Dogs Media, LLC, a company led by meteorologist Bill Evans and his wife Sandra Foschi.
Radiolab ' s first nine seasons (February 2002–April 2011) comprised five episodes each. Subsequent seasons contained between nine and ten episodes. [2] [3] Season 15 began airing in January 2017. In 2018, the show's seasonal and episode format became obscured when online content moved from radiolab.org to ‘wnycstudios.org’.
In the 2000s, the band continued to play in local venues throughout New York, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut, as well as playing annually in their own summer weekend outdoor festival aptly named "Ratstock". At one point, the "new" Good Rats (Peppi and his sons) performed as the opening act for a reunion performance by the "old" Good Rats.
