Bishazari Tal, also spelled Beeshazar Tal, is an extensive oxbow lake system in the buffer zone of the Chitwan National Park, a protected area in the Inner Terai of central Nepal. This wetland covers an area of 3,200 ha (7,900 acres) at an altitude of 286 m (938 ft).
Bishazari Tal lies near Chitwan National Park and 5 km (3.1 mi) south of the city center, Chaubiskoti, of Bharatpur. Pandeyghumti is the nearest chowk (square) from the lake, being only 1 km (0.62 mi) away.

Bharat lake or Bharat tal (Nepali: भरत ताल) is the second largest man made lake in Nepal. It is located in Madhesh Province of Sarlahi District. It covers an area of more than 50 bighas or 35 hectares, and is 35 feet deep. It has become a tourist attraction after motorboat and jet boat rides were introduced in 2021. [2] [3]
