Lomography is a photographic style which involves taking spontaneous photographs with minimal attention to technical details. Lomographic images often exploit the unpredictable, non-standard optical traits of toy cameras (such as light leaks and irregular lens alignment), and non-standard film processing techniques for aesthetic effect.
The top right is a cross screen effect. The bottom right shows a LOMO [d] effect. A diffusion filter (also called a softening filter) softens subjects and generates a dreamy haze (see photon diffusion). [28]: 30–31 This is most often used for portraits, providing an effect similar to that of a dedicated soft focus lens. It also has the effect ...

In the video inset, the object moves with the camera and it does not zoom, so the FOV does not change; thus there is no dolly effect. A dolly zoom (also known as a Hitchcock shot , [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Vertigo shot , [ 4 ] [ 2 ] Jaws effect , [ 4 ] or Zolly shot [ 5 ] ) is an in-camera effect that appears to undermine normal visual perception .
Example of blue-line horizontal anamorphic flare There are artifacts that can occur when using an anamorphic camera lens that do not occur when using an ordinary spherical lens. One is a kind of lens flare that has a long horizontal line, usually with a blue tint, and is most often visible when there is a bright light in the frame, such as from ...
Lensbaby is a line of camera lenses for DSLR and mirrorless cameras that combines a simple lens with a bellows/ball and socket mechanism for use in special effect photography. A Lensbaby can give effects normally associated with view cameras. The lenses are for use in selective focus photography and bokeh effects. [2] [3]
The device involves 1.) a vest redistributing the weight of the camera to the hips of the cameraman and, 2.) a spring-loaded arm working to minimize the effects of camera movement. A video tap simultaneously frees the camera operator from the eyepiece, who is then free to travel through any walkable terrain while filming. Story board
There are two ways in which slow motion can be achieved in modern cinematography. Both involve a camera and a projector. A projector refers to a classical film projector in a movie theater, but the same basic rules apply to a television screen and any other device that displays consecutive images at a constant frame rate.
