The Big Valley Jamboree, commonly referred to as "BVJ", is an annual country music festival held in Camrose, Alberta, Canada. [1] Established in 1992, the Jamboree is held during the Civic Holiday in August and features country singers from North America .
After going into receivership, the Big Valley Jamboree was sold to the Queen City Kinsmen in February 1996, who ran the festival with a "back to the basics" approach with less commercialization. [1] Unable to return the event to profitability, the Kinsmen relaunched the Jamboree as a classic rock festival in 2000, known as Rock 'N The Valley .
After nearly two decades in Nashville, Tennessee, the Georgia native's 2023-released Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper "Try That In A Small Town," which finally broke him to crossover superstardom.
