The battery consists of 10 subtests and is used for various professional, medical, military, government, law enforcement and employment settings.
The items are equal from form to form. The eight subtests of the original Alpha have been retained. The scoring is easier, the responses being digits or a plus or minus placed in parentheses to the left of each item. Each item is not timed individually.
