Not 5830.Based on your amazing hole shot it could be a 11.3 prop. Rule of thumb for slightly bigger motors 40hp or more is "ABOUT" 200 rpm change for each 1" pitch change.Your slightly smaller 30 may be more sensitive to pitch change. It appears ,assuming a "11.3 "prop, we need to make up about 700 rpm.
My 14ft Aerocraft weighs 105 pounds, and I weigh 115 (im not underweight still growing), and the required safety gear weighs about 15 lbs. All of these speeds are gps. 1990-ish 6hp Yamaha- 17.4 mph wot with the above weight. 16 mph wot with above plus 130lbs sister. 15 mph wot with me, sister, and 180lbs father.
i did a search and found this from 2 years ago or so... and it seems to work 99% of the time. it was posted by jb... There is another formula for predicting top speed if ideally propped and trimmed.Prop HP=ABoat gross wght.=BBottom factor=C: 180 for V bottom, 200 for nearly flat, 225 for...
Re: Top speed... 2003 24' 240 Platinum Splendor Cat with a 260 hp Mercruiser Bravo 3. 52 mph at 4600 rpm. I dont run it wide open very much, I usually set it at 3200 rpm and cruise about 35. Not the fastest boat on the water but it is the most fun boat on the water.

The current props are Mercury bravo 3, 4x3 26p that turned 5000 rpm with me and 1 other person in the boat. The water temp was 44 and the air temp was 58. The previous owner has got the prop in sand and pea gravel that roughed up the tips.
As for the top speed, I would just guess. If it's a typical ~19' vessal with 200 some HP, it ought to go something like 50 MPH. If they need a more specific top speed, figure out your engine HP, and search Google for a boat top speed calculator, they are there, type in your info, and there you have an estimate.
WOT/BF squared= hp/weight. Multiplyboth sides by weight and cancel. weight x (WOT/BF squared)=HP. Insert knowns: HP=2800 x (35/150 squared) =2800 x (.2333 squared) =2800 x .0544 = 152HP. If your BF is more like 200 the solution is 85.75HP. Now you need to determine the max HP recommendation for your boat.
Feb 3, 2010. #9. Re: 9.5 Johnson/Evinrude speeds. My friends 1968 9.5 Evinrude on a 14ft flat bottom aluminum runs 21 on the gps. The boat weighs about 130, him about 140, and 3 gallons of gas. Now if you want some speed, get a 80's model 9.9-15hp Evinrude. Here's a video I just took of mine. Runs 29.6 gps with a 9.5x10 prop.
Sep 10, 2008. #6. Re: How fast does your 4.3L V6 push your boat? 1995 Ebbtide 192SE (2600 lbs. empty) with 4.3LX 205HP (4 barrel carb) and 1.84 gears turning 21 aluminum prop at 4700RPM gets 48MPH by the speedometer.
I just bought a 07 tahoe q4 w/ the 4.3 fuel injected motor. After having it out on the lake this past weekend I was very disappointed in the top speed. The boat only went about 43 mph (speedo) I had read quite a bit about the q4 and thought that the 220hp motor was suppose to top out around 50-55mph. The boat is equipped with a sting ray ...
