Ernest Anthony Puente Jr. (April 20, 1923 – May 31, 2000), [1] commonly known as Tito Puente, was a Puerto Rico musician, songwriter, bandleader, timbalero, and record producer. He composed dance-oriented mambo and Latin jazz music.
Pedro "Cuban Pete" Aguilar (June 14, 1927 – January 13, 2009) [1] was named "the greatest Mambo dancer ever" by Life magazine and Tito Puente.
