Merced High School is located in Merced, California, United States. It is a part of the Merced Union High School District. The current enrollment is over 1,800 students in grades 9 through 12. The school is currently under Principal Marcus Knott and Associate Principals Ashley Silveria, Joel Sebastian, Phaedra Hofmann and Lea Smith.
The building served as a high school until 1920; in the following year, the county library moved into the building, where it remained until 1976. [2] Merced County High School was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 31, 1984. [1] On December 2, 2024, the high school building caught fire and was completely destroyed. [3]
