Pigeon Forge is a mountain resort city in Sevier County, Tennessee, United States.As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 6,343.Situated just 5 miles (8 km) north of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge is a tourist destination that caters primarily to Southern culture and country music fans.
Lake O’ the Pines is a reservoir on Big Cypress Bayou, also known as Big Cypress Creek, chiefly in Marion County, Texas, United States. [1] The reservoir also occupies a small part of Camp, Upshur, and Morris Counties. The dam is located approximately 8.5 miles (13.7 km) west of Jefferson.
Surrounding towns—notably Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Townsend in Tennessee, and Cherokee, Sylva, Maggie Valley, and Bryson City in North Carolina—receive a significant portion of their income from tourism associated with the park. The park features three main entrances, located in Gatlinburg, Cherokee, and Townsend.

The Log Cabin Motel, also known as Camp O' The Pines in Pinedale, Wyoming, United States, was built in 1929 as a cabin camp to serve growing numbers of automobile-borne tourists bound for Yellowstone National Park. The camp was owned by Walter Scott, who operated the Pinedale Cash Store.
It is impounded by the Walters Dam of Progress Energy creating the long, narrow Waterville Lake. It enters Tennessee just after the village of Waterville, and continues with I-40 in the same valley northwestward through Hartford to Newport, where I-40 heads west, and the Pigeon River flows north into the French Broad River.
