Plympton Academy (formerly, The Ridgeway School and, before that, Plympton County Secondary School) is a state secondary school in Plympton, Plymouth, England. It is a mixed, non-denominational academy school. In 2022, it joined the Thinking Schools Academy Trust (TSAT) to become part of a multi-academy trust (MAT).

Ridgeway has a primary school (Ridgeway Primary School), a church (St John The Evangelist Church, Ridgeway), a Methodist chapel, four pubs (The Bridge Inn, The Swan, The Queen's Head and The Phoenix Inn), sports facilities (football, tennis, bowls, cricket) and a restaurant (The Old Vicarage) that used to hold a Michelin Star.

The new combined school was planned to be rebuilt to accommodate the broader range of pupils. [3] However, in March 2013 Grange School converted to academy status and the move is on hold. Three new classrooms were constructed at Ridgeway School for use at the start of September 2013. The classrooms are primarily used for sixth form classes. [4]
Jenn Wilson, a communications coordinator at Louisville High School in Ohio, came up with the idea. The video enlisted current kindergarteners (the class of 2036) as well as the class of 2024.
The elementary school covers pre-K through 5th grade. The middle school serves grades 6 through 8, and the high school 9 through 12. A second elementary school, Ridgeway Elementary School, was previously located in Ridgeway but closed at the end of the 2020 school year after being consolidated with Dodgeville Elementary School. Danegrove Primary School, formerly Littlegrove Mixed School and Oakland School, is a primary school in East Barnet in north London. It is on two sites, Ridgeway Avenue and Windsor Drive. The school buildings at Ridgeway Avenue, which joins Daneland, are grade II listed with Historic England.
