Eno Quarry Trail is marked by blue blazes and is a 0.42-mile (0.68 km) loop. In the 1960s, stone was removed from the Eno Quarry Trail to aid in construction of Interstate 85. The quarry is now the site of a 4-acre (16,000 m 2) pond. The trail has several spots that are good for fishing.
Within the city, the trail is a 10-foot (3.0 m) wide asphalt paved greenway with loose gravel shoulders. It is open to walkers, cyclists, rollerbladers and wheelchair users, but not equestrians.
