Joker! Joker!! Joker!!! was a special once-weekly version of The Joker's Wild, with Barry hosting, in which children competed with appropriately-themed subject matter. Prior to its debut, beginning in 1973, The Joker's Wild featured children playing every year around Easter. The format was essentially the same, with some slight alterations.

Jokers Wild did two recording sessions, both at Regent Sound studio in Denmark Street, London. [7] The first, on 2 November 1965, was a self-funded and self-produced session, and resulted in a privately pressed, single-sided studio album (carrying catalogue number RSLP 007) and single (RSR 0031). 50 copies of each were made and distributed to fans.
