Grand Hotel Yerevan (Armenian: Գրանդ Հոթել Երևան), also known as GHY is a 5-star hotel in the central Kentron District of Yerevan, Armenia. It was opened in 1926, during the Soviet period, as a state-owned enterprise. It is one of the oldest hotels in modern Armenia, as well as the oldest functioning hotel in Yerevan. [1] [2]

In 2018, the hotel underwent a renovation by YTL Hotels and Champalimaud Design. The hotel is part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It forms part of a Grade II listed building named "Numbers 15A and 17 to 49 and Attached Railings" which is a terrace of 18 houses and was listed on 28 March 1969.

[4] With 38 initial members, among them Hotel Negresco in Nice, the Mena House in Cairo, the Montreux Palace in Montreux and King David Hotel in Jerusalem, the organization was initially known as "The Luxury Hotels of Europe and Egypt". Following the floods, the owners undertook alterations and renovations to restore the building and reinvent Eichardt's as a luxury boutique hotel.
