The State Bank of Tennessee building is a historic building in Columbia, Tennessee, USA. It was built by Nathan Vaught from 1839 to 1840. [2] It was designed in the Greek Revival architectural style. [2] It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 2, 1978. [3]

After Princeton, he became a clerk at Farmers' Loan and Trust Company, an affiliate of what was then National City Bank of New York. After the World War II, he rejoined the bank and was promoted quickly. In 1957, he was named president of the Farmers' Loan and Trust Company, [8] succeeding Richard S. Perkins who had been president since 1951. [9]
