The Cincinnati Rollergirls is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 2005, the league currently consists of two teams which compete against teams from other leagues, and is a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). [1]

Burning River Roller Derby was started as Burning River Roller Girls in 2006, [3] and joined the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in December 2007. [4] Burning River Roller Derby has three travel teams that play against other teams from other leagues. The A team, "Burning River All-Stars", plays WFTDA-sanctioned games.
Twelve teams from the East Region of the WFTDA competed, with Gotham Girls Roller Derby (New York City) winning the tournament. [7] In 2008, the league debuted an all-Ohio roller derby expo at the Ohio State Fair. [8] The event returned in 2009 and 2011. In May 2010, the league hosted the WFTDA Annual Meeting, known as Oh!con.

As the seventh seed in 2011, Brewcity finished in seventh place with a 157-99 victory over Cincinnati Rollergirls. [7] Brewcity was the ninth seed at the final North Central Playoff in 2012, and improved to a sixth-place finish, ending with a 222-61 loss to Detroit Derby Girls. [8]
