Culpeper County Public Schools is a school district in Culpeper County, Virginia, USA. The district is designated to carry out the functions designated by Article VIII of the Constitution of Virginia and consists of 10 schools (six elementary schools, two middle schools and two high schools) serving over 8,000 students.
Eastern View High School is designed to be a green school. The plant recycles non-consumable water. The facility also utilizes natural light by providing a network of windows in both outside and inside walls. The school recycles paper, plastic, aluminum, and cardboard. On the school grounds are a rain garden and a small area of wetlands. [7]
The second level houses administrative offices, the gymnasium and 16 classrooms. The third level houses a weight room, two shops, and three classrooms. The Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) is a public school district serving portions of the Orange County cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, La Palma, and Stanton. It oversees eight junior high schools (7-8), eight high schools (9-12), and one non-magnet, secondary selective school, Oxford Academy (7-12).
By the middle of the 1970s, [6] Culpeper was the last county in Virginia to desegregate its public schools. In 2018 Culpeper County Public Schools [7] has six elementary, two middle schools and two high schools. In 1935 the Rotary Club of Culpeper began a college loan fund, which in 1966 became a four-year scholarship based on academic achievement.
