The Valley Golf Course, formally called Indian Valley Municipal Golf Course, is an 18-hole municipal golf course located in Burlington, North Carolina. It is owned and operated by the city of Burlington. Prior to 2021, it was known as Indian Valley. The Valley is an 18-hole, par-70 golf course that is open year round to the general public.

In 1930, the second NC 100 was established when US 70/NC 10 switched routes, from Whitsett to Burlington. In 1932, NC 100 was decommissioned in favor of NC 10A. [3] [4] The third and current NC 100 was established in late 1934 as a renumbering of NC 10A, traveling from US 70 (Burlington Road) in Whitsett to NC 62/NC 93 in Burlington. [5]
Passing south of Elon, US 70 runs on Church St, a four lane retail corridor, as it enters Burlington's city limits. It connects with NC 87 and NC 100 as well as NC 62 as it enters downtown Burlington. Sharing a brief concurrency with NC 62 through the downtown area, it then proceeds southeasterly to Haw River.
NC 98 first appeared in 1930 as a state route connecting NC 91 and NC 102 in the coastal region of North Carolina. That routing was abolished in 1931 in favor of an extended NC 58 . The current routing of NC 98 was established in 1934 with the road's western terminus at NC 91 (present-day Jones Dairy Road) to US 64 west of Spring Hope.
