Manhattan Village Academy (MVA) is a small, public high school located in the Flatiron District, New York City. It consists of grades 9–12 with an enrollment of 461 students. The school is part of the New York City Department of Education. The school was founded by veteran educator Mary Butz in 1993.
In 1992, the High School for Environmental Studies opened its doors in the building that formerly housed Stuyvesant High School in the East Village on East 15th Street and First Avenue in Manhattan. [2] 150 freshmen students attended the school in its first year.

Founded in 1991, it is for students from the 6th to 12th grade. Its principal is Mark Federman. Girls Prep, a charter school, was housed inside the same building.
