The Hòa Bình Dam on the Black River (Vietnamese: Sông Đà) is the largest hydroelectric dam in Vietnam from 1994 to 2012 (this record was broken by Sơn La Dam), and one of the largest in Southeast Asia, with a generating capacity of 1,920 MW.

The Đa Nhim Hydroelectric Power Station is a power station on the Đa Nhim River in Vietnam. Phase 1 construction started in April 1961 and was finished in January 1964. It has installed capacity of 160 MW. [1] Đa Nhim Lake is at an altitude of 1,042 metres (3,419 ft). [2] [3] It was the first hydroelectric power station in South Vietnam. [4]
